Common Issues We See

Grind adjustment not responding

Often this comes down to purging. We check the grinder and show your baristas how to purge properly, so the adjustment holds and the issue doesn't keep coming back.

Inconsistent grind from missed purging

One of the most common issues we see behind the counter. We will walk you through it during our service visit to ensure your team understands proper purging techniques.

Worn or dull burrs

We check the burr wear and replace burrs as they start to dull, not after they're fully worn out. Cafes on regular maintenance plans are able to catch this before it becomes a larger issue.

Our process

1. reach out to Us

Send a message through the contact form or give us a call. We typically respond within the hour and can usually be at your cafe within 48 hours.

2. Assessment

We diagnose the problem on-site and walk you through what we find, so you know what's wrong and why it happened.

3. Work & Support

We will make the repair and show your team what to watch for, and if you're not already on one, we can set up a bi-annual maintenance visit so the next issue gets caught early instead of during a rush.

Frequently asked questions

What grinder issues do you fix?

We commonly address grind adjustment problems, inconsistent grinds from missed purging, and worn burrs.

Does my grinder need daily maintenance?

Generally, no. It is important that your baristas purge properly and your burrs get replaced as they start to dull. Regular maintenance visits can ensure you stay on top of your general wear and tear.

When should burrs be replaced?

It is best to replace them as they start to dull, not after they're fully worn out. We check burr wear at every service visit, so cafes on regular maintenance catch it early.

How often should my grinder be serviced?

Twice a year. We offer bi-annual service visits that cover your grinder along with your espresso machine, water filtration, and roaster.

How quickly can you get to my cafe?

We can usually be at your cafe within 48 hours. Same-day emergency service is available, quoted specifically for your cafe and the issue.

What are your rates?

Service is $90/hour and travel time is $45/hour. Emergency and same-day visits are quoted individually.

Where do you work?

We cover Northwest Arkansas, Southwest Missouri, and East Oklahoma.
